Scandalul iscat după demiterea lui Olăroiu a stârnit reacţii fără precedent în Arabia Saudită, o ţară închisă, unde revolta e chestie care ţine mai degrabă de filmele SF!
Şi totuşi concedierea unui antrenor român a scos lumea în stradă la Riad. La câteva ore după anunţul federaţiei, suporterii lui Al-Hilal, pentru care Oli este un adevărat idol, au luat cu asalt sediul clubului! Aceştia au scandat „Kuzmin, Kuzmin“ şi au afişat bannere prin care şi-au exprimat solidaritatea cu fostul tehnician al Stelei. Mai mult, jucătorii de la Al-Hilal au refuzat să iasă la antrenament, iar drept urmare, şedinţa de pregătire programată pentru ieri la prânz nu a mai avut loc!

cozmin was highly wronged by the saudi arabian sport leader "sultan bin fahad". it's not an exaggeration to say that we had the most lovely, enjoyable and successful two seasons of all alhilal times with cozmin coaching. we felt cozmin as a corner not only in alhilal club but in all saudi football occasions. for all audience in and out saudi arabia, please remember that this illogical and arbitrary decision doesn't represent alhilah fans and many others but only few unreasonable haters to this club.

thank you cosmin for what you did to al-hilal and the saudi soccer league. you have made a lot of us love romania and its people, that's something politics would've needed years to accomplish. thank you for the great memories you left for us. thank you coach for every minute you have spent on training our players with full dedication. good luck olaroiu in your future. we’re sure that one day you will be coaching one of the best teams in the world, and when that happens we will remember you and smile :)
